The Ghost of Pirate Cove A school is closed because a developer has acquired the property. The Town of Pirate Cove has given the school some money and an old building. The kids all stay for the summer to get their new school open in the fall, but things are not so easy. The old building seems to be home to some pirate ghosts only visible sometimes to some kids. The plot unfolds with story, songs and dance. Each year Kidstock Summer Theater Camp offers a different script, all of which are original. The scripts are written to accommodate the skills and abilities of young actors at three age levels, usually 6 -7; 8 – 9; and 10 to 13.

There are three sets of character types that roughly correspond to these age groups, although the scripts leave room to adapt for the particular casts. Actors work in small age appropriate groups and also come together to work as a whole cast. This method used by the June Bug Center was developed for flexibility, maximum enjoyment and personal attention. Each year we learn new lessons about making Kidstock the best theater camp of its kind in the region and incorporate them into the structure.
Tinytots Mini Arts Camps - Puppets & Me (ages 3 to 5). Children discover the magic of puppets in this popular mini arts camp. A week long activity, young puppeteers will make a puppet a day, learn stories, songs and movements to perform with their puppets. On Friday they will entertain family and friends in a brief performance. All materials are provided and at the end of the week all puppets will go home with the child.
