June 2-6, 2008 9am - 11am Daily Floyd Tinytots Mini Arts Camps - Puppets & Me (ages 3 to 5). Children discover the magic of puppets in this popular mini arts camp. A week long activity, young puppeteers will make a puppet a day, learn stories, songs and movements to perform with their puppets. On Friday they will entertain family and friends in a brief performance. All materials are provided and at the end of the week all puppets will go home with the child.
June 9-13, 2008 9am - 2pm Floyd Kidstock Summer Theatre Camp, ages 6 - 13. Fees are $100 through April 30 - May 1, 2008 and $110 after. Original script where kids help to save their school, but not without encountering a few pesky, pirate ghosts. Full of fun, singing and dancing - every Kidstock Summer Theatre is a Musical! Workshops include theatre craft workshops in make-up, voice, acting skills, music, dance and more.

June 28, 2008 10am & 2pm Floyd Family Theatre - Red Riding Hood at 10am and Hansel & Gretel at 2pm. Two classic tales will be performed in the Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $6.00 for each show and are available at the June Bug Center and online. Save $2.25 when purchasing both tickets in advance for $9.75.

The production comes to the June Bug Center through its partnership with Mary Baldwin College's MLITT. / MFA Program offered in conjunction with the American Shakespeare Center. This partnership delighted, provoked, & thrilled audiences with previous performances of Hamlet, Comedy of Errors and King Lear.
